Lynn A. Taylor is Vice President of Government Affairs for EMD Serono, Inc. Ms. Taylor is responsible for all legislative, policy, and political activity for EMD Serono and for the oversight of the Washington, D.C. office. She is also responsible for building and solidifying relationships with key Federal and State government officials, policy makers and other key stakeholders for EMD Serono. Ms. Taylor guides the development of company positions related to key policy issues and legislation impacting the biopharmaceutical industry and EMD Serono’s business, products, policy, and practices.
Ms. Taylor serves as the chief liaison to major industry associations for the company, including the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA), the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) and the Massachusetts Biotechnology Council (MassBio). Ms. Taylor is also a Board member of the New England Healthcare Institute (NEHI) and the German-American Business Council (GABC).

In June 2010, Lynn Taylor, Vice President of Government Affairs, was recognized by Pharmaceutical Executive Magazine with the Emerging Leader Award. This award recognizes leaders in the industry who drive innovation and bring new ideas to life.
Career History
Ms. Taylor first joined the company in 2005 as Executive Director of Government Relations and was appointed Vice President of Government Affairs in 2006. Prior to joining EMD Serono, Ms. Taylor’s career experience included serving as Director, Federal Government Relations and Public Policy at Millennium Pharmaceuticals, Director of Strategy and Health Policy at DEKA Research and Development, and Director of Policy at PhRMA.

EDUCATION
Ms. Taylor earned her Master’s degree in public administration from American University in Washington, D.C. and her Bachelor’s degree in political science from Fordham University in New York.
