2020: International Year of the Nurse
In 2020, for the first time in history, the nations of the world will unite in celebration of the benefits that nursing and midwifery bring to the health of the global populations.
A vital role
Nurses and midwives play a vital role in providing health services. They devote their lives to giving lifesaving immunizations and health advice, looking after older people, caring for mothers and children, and meeting everyday essential health needs.
EMD Serono is joining WHO and its partners in a year-long effort to celebrate the work of nurses and midwives.
Showing gratitude to our MS LifeLines nurse educators
MS LifeLines is an educational patient support service sponsored by EMD Serono that supports patients and caregivers throughout their EMD Serono treatment journey. MS LifeLines nurses provide one-on-one support, including basic MS educational resources and information to help patients understand and stay on track with their EMD Serono treatment.
MS LifeLines nurse educators let patients on EMD Serono therapies know that they're not alone. They are there to listen, help, and provide resources to support patients as they navigate their MS journey.
On behalf of all of us at EMD Serono, patients, and caregivers: Thank you for all that you do. Thank you for being there. Your commitment to patients is immeasurable.
