As Senior Vice President, U.S. Oncology, Joe is responsible for driving the commercialization of the U.S. oncology product portfolio.
With more than 20 years of pharmaceutical and biotech industry experience, Joe is known for execution excellence and strong results while generating a high level of enthusiasm and engagement from team members and collaborators. He has achieved success across various marketing and sales management roles with in-depth knowledge spanning multiple therapeutic areas, brands, and geographies.
Joe joined EMD Serono in 2010 where he has since played a critical role in the development of the Company’s U.S. oncology sales structure and organization. As part of this, he created a strong culture and attracted talent that incrementally added to the success of the franchise and then set the foundation for the company’s launch of its first immuno-oncology product.
Joe spent over a decade of his early career at Bristol-Myers Squibb where he held various marketing roles across several areas including cardiovascular and oncology.
He graduated from the University of Alberta with a bachelor’s degree in Neuropsychology.
