John Huycke is the Vice President of Strategy & Digital Innovation at EMD Serono.
In this role, he is responsible for strategy development, execution of initiatives such as customer engagement & innovation, with a focus on leveraging digital possibilities and partnerships to drive business impact.
John joined the company in 1994 in Geneva, Switzerland and held positions in multiple functions including Global Marketing, Portfolio Management & Market Research, Investor Relations, Finance, and Business Development before transferring to the U.S. in 2003 where his roles have included leading Trade, Product Security & Supply Chain, Commercial Development & Alliances, Managed Care, performance management and annual target setting, and enhancing governance for aligned strategy execution.
Previously, he worked in the Export & Middle East, Africa group for Procter & Gamble based in Switzerland, as well as for Ernst & Young, Clarkson Gordon in Toronto, Canada.
John holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen's University in Canada, an MBA from IMD International in Switzerland and a CPA designation in Ontario, Canada.
