Since 2016, Andrea Mulford has served as Senior Vice-President, Head of Global Strategic Insights - a business-focused function that guides the organization to use objective customer and market insight, competitive intelligence, and strategic forecasting to power decision making with the mission to improve patients’ lives.

Before joining EMD Serono, Andrea created a culture of Insight at Teva Specialty Medicines by building and leading Teva’s first Global Market Research and Forecasting function (Customer Insight) for innovative/branded products. Before her four-year tenure at Teva, Andrea spent nine years at AstraZeneca in local and global roles of increasing responsibility in both insights and communications.

Andrea holds a BA in Communications and a BA in Psychology from Syracuse University. She also studied at St. Joseph’s University where she earned an Executive MBA in Pharmaceutical Marketing.
