OUR GUIDING PRINCIPLES
EMD Serono is committed to fostering an open dialogue with and listening to patients and caregivers. In doing this, we follow these principles:
Independence and Non-Interference
We respect the autonomy of patient and caregiver organizations and do not interfere with, regards to any policies, business decisions, or activities. We always encourage diversity of funding sources for any project.
We believe collaborations must be based on mutual respect, prioritization of long-term commitment over short-term needs, and the value of each other’s contributions.
COMPLIANCE WITH APPLICABLE LAWS, CODES AND POLICIES
We always ensure that all interactions with patients, advocates and patient or caregiver organizations are compliant with all applicable laws, codes, and our internal policies. As such, we never ask, expect, encourage, or reward any patient, patient opinion leader, or patient organization to promote, or purchase any of our products.
