Emily joined EMD Serono in April 2021 as the Head of Patient Support Program Strategy for US Patient Access Solutions. She was promoted to Vice President, Head of US Patient Access Solutions shortly thereafter.  In this role, Emily is responsible for overseeing all Patient Support programs including MS Lifelines, Fertility Lifelines, Axis Center for our HIV therapy, and CoverOne for two oncology therapies. 

The Patient Access Solutions team works to overcome access and affordability challenges, ensuring patients can start their prescribed therapy as quickly as possible. After access challenges are overcome, the EMD Serono team of nurses connects with patients and caregivers to provide education and support throughout their treatment journey. 

Emily began her career as a Licensed Social Worker at NY Presbyterian Hospital- Weill Cornell. Emily’s commitment to patients never changed, though the venue where she could provide that support grew. Her first pharmaceutical job was at Celgene, where she helped build an internal hub that quickly gained national recognition for its best-in-class patient care. Emily led the Patient Support team for the launch of five products in her time at Celgene and Bristol Meyers Squibb, as well as being named the Hematology Franchise Patient Support Program lead. 

Emily earned a Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder.
