Grace You

Grace You is Chief of Staff at EMD Serono.

In this role, Grace provides strategic and operational support to the President and leads key organizational projects. She heads the President’s Office, and is responsible for driving increased simplicity, effectiveness, and impact within the organization. She plays a critical role in building engagement and High Impact Culture across EMD Serono, and sits on the Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany Healthcare Diversity, Inclusion, Community and Equity (DICE) Council as the North America Representative.

Grace has been with EMD Serono since 2018, previously serving as Director in Global Portfolio Management, where she led portfolio evaluation and decision analysis for the Neurology & Immunology therapeutic area. Before EMD Serono, Grace developed commercial, marketing and innovation strategies at MilliporeSigma. Prior to that, Grace worked as a management consultant at Boston Consulting Group, with focus on the pharmaceutical industry.  

Grace has 15 years of healthcare experience spanning the fields of research, strategy, portfolio management, marketing and commercial, and brings a unique perspective to connect the dots and innovate.

Grace holds a BSc in Chemistry and Biology from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China and a PhD in Neurobiology from Harvard University.
