Kate Cingolani

As Head of North America Communications, Kate leads the team responsible for driving and executing the company’s North America corporate communications strategy, including external and employee communications, as well as social and digital media. 

She has more than 15 years of experience in communications, strategy and corporate communications, with a focus on crisis, engagement and transformation initiatives.

Kate joins EMD Serono from Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany’s Life Science business, where she had roles of increasing responsibility, most recently as the Head of Global Internal Communications.

Prior to her roles in Life Science, Kate spent more than a decade at EMD Serono, where she was a part of the communications team supporting internal communication and community service efforts and served as a Product Manager on the Endocrinology Marketing team.

Kate holds a BA from the University of Vermont.
