Dan van Horn

Dan van Horn is a commercial, market access and patient services executive with proven success in building and leading high-performing teams, delivering results and executing strategic plans.

As Chief Operating Officer, Dan is responsible for driving the execution of EMD Serono’s commercial strategy and profitability. Dan oversees day-to-day commercial operations, optimizing business processes and ensuring operational excellence across the commercial business.

With more than 20 years in the industry, Dan has had many positions of increasing responsibility in commercial leadership, training and development, market access, trade/distribution, access strategy, field reimbursement and patient services. He has extensive product launch experience in Oncology, Neurology, Cardiovascular, Rheumatology and Rare Disease.

He is known for his people-oriented leadership style, building effective and productive teams that succeed through collaboration, teamwork, and trust.
